Car Camping & Fishing the Tarryall
Special thanks to Jim Hoffmeyer for letting us use his land and fishing access on the Tarryall for this lovely car-camping outing. And thanks to Jim, too, for a fabulous cowboy breakfast cooked over campfire. Deb and Michael rangled the cats on this relaxed and easy weekend outing.
This overnight car camping outing includes fly fishing on the famous Tarryall Creek, a creek that has some fish that could test the strength of tenkara rods. This outings is part of the Boulder Valley ICO Tenkara Academy and the Boulder Valley ICO Photography Academy. Participants and volunteers are encouraged to visit the Tenkara Academy Page on this website in advance of the outing for basic information and learning materials related to tenkara fly fishing. A fishing license is NOT required to fish on the private lands to which we will have access.
